Overview Intrepid Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and certified
Physical Security Systems Specialist to operate, maintain, and repair critical physical security infrastructure across multiple facilities. The Physical Security Systems Specialist will be responsible for the comprehensive management of the Access Control System (ACS), Intrusion Detection System (IDS), and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system. The ideal candidate will ensure the integrity of secure areas by managing access, monitoring for intrusions, and maintaining all related hardware and software.
Responsibilities - Operate, maintain, and repair the current ACS, IDS, and CCTV systems.
- Add, delete, modify users/permissions and manage attributes within the access control/intrusion detection and CCTV systems.
- Ensure monitoring of ACS, IDS, and CCTV systems. Respond to system errors and alarms, clear intrusion events, and notify the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC) to initiate response as needed.
- Perform fault diagnosis, repair, overhaul, refurbishment, and preventative maintenance on security equipment, including electronic components and mechanical hardware such as turnstiles.
- Document all installations, configuration changes, network layouts, and alarm testing.
- Coordinate with the Security Office and Facility Engineers to address modifications and new requirements.
- Fulfill requests for ad hoc queries and reports from government personnel.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: This is a full time onsite position with standard operating hours Monday - Friday, unless otherwise discussed with management.
TRAVEL: Position does not require travel.
Qualifications CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret / SCI **TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration***
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
CERTIFICATION(S): - Possess active IAT Level II (Security+, or equivalent) Certification, desired.
- Lenel Certified Professional (LCP) certifications in the Access, Database, Intrusion, and Video concentration areas.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Minimum three (3) years of experience in System Operations and Maintenance, Access Control Management, Monitoring and Response, Technical Support/ Sustainment, and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) systems.

Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
