Job Summary Langan is seeking a Landscape Architect to join its collaborative team in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves planning, design, and permitting of landscape architecture, land development, and planning projects for public and private sector clients across the United States and abroad. Job Responsibilities Assist with the planning, design, and permitting of landscape architecture, civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects using design, engineering, and graphic software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator). Perform zoning, ordinance, and permit assessments and determine feasibility of projects based on collected data. Prepare and modify design and engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans. Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographic/geologic data and their impact on planning and design. Provide field inspection services as needed. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. 1+ years of relevant experience (prior internship experience is a plus). Demonstrated passion for design excellence and creating inspiring places in urban environments. Highly creative with exceptional computer skills in Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and AutoCAD. Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment. Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license in good standing.
