DentalWorks is seeking a motivated Dental Hygienist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our network of clinics. As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide high-quality, patient-focused preventive dental care in a compassionate, welcoming environment. You will perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and oral health assessments, including charting, probing, and documenting findings in the patient record. You will obtain and process dental radiographs in accordance with safety and regulatory standards, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, disease prevention, nutrition, and home care routines. Working closely with dentists and the clinical care team, you will prepare treatment areas, assist with exams, review medical histories, and support the implementation of individualized treatment plans. You will help monitor and manage periodontal conditions, apply sealants and fluoride treatments, and ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained in compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines. In this role you will also contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture by communicating clearly with dentists, dental assistants, and front office staff to coordinate appointments and optimize patient flow. You will help reinforce our commitment to affordable, high-quality care by providing a reassuring chairside manner, respecting patient concerns, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in the practice management system.
