About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial and Administrative Officer (CFAO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFAO will be a strategic partner to the CEO, overseeing the organization's core administrative functions, including finance, human resources, technology, security, facilities, and administrative support. This role is pivotal in ensuring strong financial stewardship, operational excellence, and the alignment of internal operations with the company's mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and strengthening the organization's financial and administrative systems, and processes, and will be expected to bring a hands-on approach to financial operations. Candidates for the CFAO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial leadership, ideally in a nonprofit setting. The role requires a leader who is both strategic and operational, with a proven track record in supervising diverse operational departments and a strong knowledge of financial management practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be adept at influencing organizational culture, and have a strong understanding of or willingness to learn about the values and culture that inform the company's decision-making. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to bring clarity, consistency, and cohesion to the organization's financial and administrative functions, and to create a more unified and effective operating environment.
