Saturday & Sunday

11am-11pm

Role: An Armed Patrol Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors by enforcing security procedures and responding to potential threats. This position requires carrying a firearm and using sound judgment in high-pressure situations. Officers patrol assigned areas, monitor surveillance systems, control access points, and respond to emergencies such as alarms or incidents. They maintain accurate records, coordinate with law enforcement when necessary, and provide courteous service while maintaining a strong and visible security presence. To qualify, officers must be licensed, trained in firearm safety, and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Must have or obtain a Valid Security License as required by the state licensing authority.
  • Valid driver's license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards.
Special qualifications:
  • Must be 21+ years old.
  • Must pass Armed training and hold a valid pistol permit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Security Operations
  • Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.
  • Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.
Incident Response & Reporting
  • Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
  • Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.
  • Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.
Customer Service & Professionalism
  • Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.
  • Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
  • Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Minimum Required:
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • Strong situational awareness and curiosity.
  • Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations.
  • Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation

Education & Experience :

Minimum:
  • Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
  • Experience: 1+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.
