Job Title Aisles Online Shopper Department Aisles Online FLSA Status Non‑Exempt Function Responsible for selecting “the best of the best” products for our online shoppers and accurately fulfilling online grocery orders. Additional Considerations Night & Weekend Shifts Required Responsibilities Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service; greet customers and address them by name when possible. Assist customers in locating products, securing out‑of‑reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, and passing along suggestions or requests. Answer telephone calls and email inquiries promptly, providing helpful service. Accurately select groceries for online orders, choosing the highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh items. Select, scan and bag items from all temperature‑controlled zones. Tender customer orders through POS, charge credit cards, and place orders in storage at the correct temperature. Retrieve orders promptly before customer arrival, maintain proper temperature throughout the process, and deliver items to pickup areas or customer vehicles. Continuously monitor incoming online orders to ensure on‑time fulfillment. Perform other job‑related duties and special projects as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, friendly demeanor. Problem‑solving ability, including substituting products when necessary. Well organized, capable of multi‑tasking in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Physical Requirements Visual: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction. Medium physical work: occasional lifting or carrying of objects up to 50 pounds and frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Other physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Working Conditions Primarily performed in a retail store setting. Exposure to dust, noise, temperature extremes, moving equipment, and potential electrical shock. Constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment. Equipment Used Pallet jack, box cutter, cash registers, trash compactor, forklift, calculator, telephone, intercom, cardboard compactor, copier, fax Contact Daily contact with store personnel, customers, and the general public.
