Oakley Veterinary Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Practice Manager to join our team in Oakley, California. As a full-service animal hospital, we provide comprehensive care for small animals and exotics, focusing on promoting the bond between pets and their caregivers through compassionate care and education. Daily Responsibilities: Overseeing daily practice goings on, ensuring schedule is kept and moving smoothly Monitoring appointment schedule, ensuring efficient use of time to maximize production Overseeing CSR and Technician manager, ensuring their needs are met and they are functioning efficiently Ordering as-needed maintenance and supplies for equipment and technology Oversees hiring of staff with other managers and owner Overseeing/delegating social media posting and maintaining current presence on various applicationss Meets regularly with other executive team members to discuss operations and production numbers Maintains good communication with the doctors, able to discuss schedule holes and production expectations Maintains current compliance in all HR matters Required Skills: Experience in animal care and hospital operations Strong knowledge of preventive care and wellness practices (a plus) Proficiency in Covetrus Impromed practice software (a plus) Excellent client service and communication skills Ability to manage staff files; i.e. managing sick days, vacation days, unpaid time off, etc. Nice to Have Skills: Inventory control experience Health care industry knowledge OSHA certification Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $55,000.00 Maximum Salary: $60,000.00 Health insurance, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), flexible schedules, CA-required sick leave, and paid time off Company Information: Oakley Veterinary Medical Center is a full-service animal hospital in Oakley, California, providing comprehensive care for small animals and exotics.
