Accountable Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Travel Surgical Scrub Technician to join our team of professionals serving leading healthcare facilities across the country. In partnership with American Mobile Healthcare, a respected leader in nursing and healthcare staffing, this role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality perioperative care while experiencing diverse clinical settings and locations. As a Travel Surgical Scrub Technician, you will work in the operating room as an essential member of the surgical team. You will prepare the OR by gathering and arranging instruments, supplies, and equipment; establish and maintain a sterile field; and assist surgeons and nurses through all phases of operative procedures. You will anticipate the needs of the surgeon, pass instruments and supplies efficiently, assist with patient preparation and draping, handle specimens, and participate in accurate counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments to ensure patient safety. You will function across multiple surgical specialties based on facility needs, which may include general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, neurosurgery, or cardiovascular procedures. Success in this role requires strict adherence to sterile technique and infection prevention standards, strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures, and the ability to adapt quickly to different hospital policies, workflows, and electronic documentation systems. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and other perioperative staff to support efficient, high-quality surgical care. This travel position is ideal for a surgical technologist who enjoys variety, learning, and professional growth. Assignments will be at renowned hospitals and surgical centers, offering exposure to best practices and advanced technologies. You will be expected to integrate rapidly into new teams, communicate clearly, and demonstrate sound judgment in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Between cases, you will participate in room turnover, equipment care, and readiness for subsequent procedures.
