Responsibilities

This opportunity is a full-time night shift position. Wellington Regional Medical Center is located in Wellington, Florida. It is a 235-bed, acute care hospital, owned by a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., a highly respected healthcare management organization. Wellington Regional is proud to have provided high quality healthcare services to the residents of Palm Beach County since 1986. Job Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Able to perform detailed assignments and work under pressure.
  • Possesses communication skills in order to relate to patients, hospital staff, physicians, and others.
  • American Heart Association certification in BLS required.
  • Basic EKG or arrhythmia recognition course required.
  • Computer experience preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility and accountability for performing the Monitor Technician duties including recognition, interpretation, documentation, and communication of cardiac telemetry rhythm strips.
