Master's Degree Required Pennsylvania Supervisor of Special Education Certification Required Supervisor of Special Education 12-Month Position The Bethel Park School District is seeking a collaborative, student-centered leader to serve as Supervisor of Special Education. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight for the District's special education programs and services while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and requirements. This individual will support the continued development of strong special education programming through effective systems, collaboration, and a focus on student success. The Supervisor of Special Education will provide leadership in the areas of program development, compliance, instructional support, professional learning, and collaboration with administrators, teachers, families, and service providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching, learning, and leadership and the ability to support educators, use data to guide decisions, and identify opportunities to improve outcomes for students. This position requires a leader who has demonstrated the ability to establish expectations, monitor implementation, and hold teams accountable for compliance with all applicable special education laws and regulations while ensuring students receive the services and support necessary to achieve success. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and relationship builder who can work collaboratively with staff and families, support continuous improvement efforts, and contribute to the District's ongoing commitment to providing high-quality programs and services for all students. Experience with special education supervision, compliance, program development, professional learning, and district-wide initiatives is required.
