Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is located in Anoka, MN, for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 31, 2026, and ending June 4, 2027. The position involves working in a Setting 3 classroom specifically designed to support students with Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The manageable caseload ranges from approximately 6 to 10 students, allowing for focused, individualized instruction and support.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering tailored educational programs for students with ASD and DCD in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and modify curriculum and instructional strategies
• Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes to guide instructional decisions
• Maintaining a positive classroom environment that fosters learning and social development
• Communicating effectively with parents, staff, and administration regarding student needs and progress

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license with required ASD or DCD endorsement (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only)
• Experience working in special education, particularly with students diagnosed with ASD and DCD
• Strong skills in differentiated instruction, behavior management, and IEP implementation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a single building setting
• Spanish language skills are preferred to support diverse communication needs

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
