ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE WITH CI POLY REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

TENICA is seeking an experienced ServiceNow (SNOW) Requirements Engineer to support a mission-critical Intelligence Community (IC) customer. This role is ideal for a professional with strong analytical expertise and confident communication skills, capable of bridging stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the successful execution of SNOW projects.

The SNOW Requirements Engineer will play a pivotal role in gathering, refining, and translating requirements for SNOW applications and workflows. This position requires a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to engage effectively with senior IC leadership and cross-functional contractor teams.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Partner with senior IC leadership and stakeholders to collect, refine, and prioritize requirements for SNOW applications and workflows.
  • Translate organizational objectives into detailed, actionable requirements aligned with mission priorities and system capabilities.
  • Ensure requirements are feasible, accurate, and clearly capture stakeholder needs within technical and operational constraints.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Work closely with IC staff, developers, and other contractors to clarify requirements and address gaps in design or implementation.
  • Facilitate discussions and coordination across multiple teams to ensure consistent understanding of requirements.
  • Participate in technical exchange meetings and workshops to refine requirements in alignment with SNOW capabilities and best practices.

Documentation and Communication

  • Document requirements, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria in a clear and structured format to guide development and testing teams.
  • Provide regular updates to IC leadership on requirements status, risks, and impacts.
  • Support change management by documenting updates or refinements to requirements based on stakeholder feedback.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Interface confidently with senior IC officials, ensuring requirements workflows reflect strategic priorities and are communicated effectively.
  • Collaborate across multiple contractor teams, fostering open communication and alignment toward shared mission objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (required).
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in collecting and refining technical requirements for SNOW applications and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of SNOW platform capabilities, including workflows, applications, and integrations.
  • Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in dynamic team environments.
  • Confidence working with senior leadership and ability to communicate clearly, calmly, and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills for bridging technical teams and mission-driven stakeholders.
Education / Relevant Experience
  • Associate Degree + 10 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 8 years of relevant experience
  • Master’s Degree + 6 years of relevant experience
  • PhD + 4 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) environments, workflows, and directives.
  • Experience in agile or hybrid development environments, including collaboration with Scrum teams.
  • ServiceNow or business analysis certifications such as Certified Application Specialist or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
  • Capability in creating visual requirements documentation (e.g., process models, data flow diagrams) using tools like Microsoft Visio or Lucidchart.
