We’re hiring a highly skilled SEO Specialist to help drive performance across a portfolio of legal industry clients. This is a hands‑on, implementation‑focused role for someone fluent in advanced SEO principles—including semantic markup, AI‑assisted workflows via API or Model Context Protocols (MCPs), and emerging search technologies like vector embeddings . You will own your own client campaigns while also working alongside our SEO Team Lead, Director of Strategy, and Training Coordinator to refine and build scalable SEO processes for the broader team. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond checklists and prompt‑based SEO and is using structured data, AI workflows, and semantic search as part of their day‑to‑day execution. Who You Are You’re a technically proficient SEO professional with a strong sense of curiosity and a bias toward execution. You know how to analyze and implement strategies based on semantic relationships, structured data, and AI‑assisted insights. You’re not just experimenting with AI—you’re applying it to real‑world SEO problems in repeatable, scalable ways. You thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy building systems, and are comfortable owning performance outcomes for client campaigns. What You’ll Do Own and implement SEO strategies across your assigned client accounts, including technical SEO, content optimization, and local SEO. Apply semantic search principles to improve topical authority, internal linking, and content architecture, especially for legally complex service areas. Build and maintain structured data (JSON‑LD/Schema.org) across client sites, with a focus on entity relationships and visibility in AI‑powered SERPs. Use your understanding of vector embeddings and semantic proximity to identify patterns, improve content clustering, and inform strategy. Leverage AI tools beyond basic prompting (e.g., OpenAI API, Claude, Gemini) to: Extract entities and identify content gaps. Conduct AI‑assisted audits and content scoring. Generate and QA briefs that support E‑E‑A‑T, YMYL compliance, and legal search intent. Use platforms like Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and others to monitor site health, surface issues, and drive improvements. Collaborate with SEO leadership to refine internal processes, build documentation and playbooks, and contribute to scalable team‑wide solutions. What You Bring 4–6+ years of hands‑on SEO experience , ideally within legal, healthcare, finance, or other regulated verticals. Proven ability to manage SEO campaigns end‑to‑end , from audit to implementation to performance analysis. Deep knowledge of Schema.org markup , semantic architecture, and structured data deployment at scale. Demonstrated experience using AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) to support SEO workflows—not just for content generation, but for audits, classification, prompt chaining, and data‑informed strategy. Understanding of vector embeddings, entity clustering, and contextual proximity , and how they inform modern search behavior and architecture. Strong technical SEO skills, including crawl optimization, indexation control, site performance, and internal linking logic. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex search concepts clearly to both internal teams and clients. Comfortable working cross‑functionally with content teams, developers, and project leads. If your AI experience is limited to ChatGPT prompting or you haven't applied semantic SEO or structured data in real‑world client work, this role is likely not the right fit. Bonus Skills Familiarity with AI‑influenced SERPs such as Google SGE, Perplexity, and ChatGPT browsing. Experience building and interpreting SEO dashboards in Looker Studio or similar. Working knowledge of WordPress, including theme‑level and plugin‑level SEO implementation. Experience optimizing legal directory profiles and citations (e.g., Avvo, Findlaw, Martindale) to support local SEO and authority‑building. Prior work in a legal marketing agency or with multi‑location law firms. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Consultwebs - Digital Legal Marketing by 2x. We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way. Experts add insights directly into each article, started with the help of AI. #J-18808-Ljbffr
