The Opportunity:

We are looking for a volunteer Senior SEO Expert to help us optimize our blog content and website to reach a wider audience. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that individuals seeking reliable health information can easily find our resources online.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic website traffic and improve search engine rankings for our blog.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify relevant and high-potential search terms for our health literacy content.
• Analyze website performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve SEO effectiveness.
• Collaborate with our content creators to ensure all blog content is optimized for search engines, incorporating best practices and relevant keywords.
• Provide guidance on technical SEO aspects, including site audits and optimization for speed and mobile-friendliness.
• Monitor and report on key website analytics and SEO performance, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Senior SEO Expert, with a strong track record of achieving measurable results.

• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Expertise in keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and technical SEO.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop effective strategies.
