Coastal Bus Line is looking for experienced school bus drivers to join our team in Charleston, SC. Must hold a valid CDL with P/S endorsement and state-issued school bus certification. We offer competitive pay, weekly pay, and flexible shift options, including full- and part-time positions. Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport students to and from school and related activities.
Ensure the vehicle is in good working order, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
Follow designated routes and schedules while maintaining flexibility as needed.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure bus safety.
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward students, parents, and staff.
Ensure timely reporting of any incidents or issues, including equipment malfunction or behavioral concerns.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a valid CDL with P/S endorsement and school bus certification in South Carolina.
Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and 4 or fewer points on the current driving record).
Experience working with children or in a school transportation role is a plus.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Ability to adapt to various shift schedules, including morning, mid-day, and evening routes.
Dependable, adaptable, and people-oriented: Enjoys interacting with students and other staff in a school environment.
