Job Description

The Public Relations Manager at Hope Consulting is a pivotal role within our organization. The Public Relations Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of public relations and communications strategies that enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works closely with the marketing team as well as top management to ensure that all public relations efforts align with our strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a public relations strategy that aligns with the organization's overall mission and objectives.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to integrate PR campaigns with marketing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry professionals to promote the organization’s brand and services.
  • Coordinate all public relations activities and events including press releases, media inquiries, interview requests, and speaking engagements.
  • Manage and respond to crisis situations in a timely and effective manner to protect the organization's reputation.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on public relations outcomes using PR measurement tools to the management team.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a public relations role, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong network of media contacts and relationships within the industry.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate messages to different audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of PR software, databases, and design and video editing software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
