Job Description

Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist in the design and execution of trials related to injection molding and extrusion film processes.
• Conducts material testing and analysis to evaluate performance characteristics
• Supports the development of new materials and formulations for improved product performance
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met
• Assist in writing procedures for new processes as well as revising and writing new procedures for processes already in place.
• Collaborate with Operations, Applications & Research Development and Quality to meet project requirements and timelines.
• Perform statistical analysis on product data when required
• Participate in FMEA's and Design of Experiments related to current and/or new products
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education/Special Skills
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while being detail-oriented
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting & planning skills
