Bethesda Health is seeking a dedicated LPN Nurse Supervisor for a full-time evening shift position within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will oversee nursing care delivery on the unit, providing hands-on clinical support while supervising a team of LPNs, CNAs, and other support staff. As a working supervisor, you will participate directly in patient care, including medication administration, treatments, wound care, and monitoring of patient conditions, while ensuring that all care provided meets regulatory standards and Bethesda Health’s high expectations for safety, quality, and compassionate service. The LPN Nurse Supervisor will coordinate staffing assignments for the evening shift, assist with scheduling and shift coverage, and serve as the primary clinical resource and point of escalation for staff during assigned hours. You will monitor workflow, prioritize patient needs, and ensure timely responses to changes in condition, physician orders, and family concerns. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will regularly collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to support care planning and continuity of care. This position requires an LPN who is confident in clinical judgment and comfortable leading others in a fast-paced environment. You will conduct and document assessments within scope, ensure accurate charting in the electronic medical record, and support adherence to infection control, safety protocols, and organizational policies. You will assist with orientation, mentoring, and ongoing guidance for staff on the evening shift, promoting a culture of accountability, respect, and professional growth.
