Position Overview  
Spa Lavender is seeking a professional, motivated, and guest-focused Licensed Esthetician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about skincare, wellness, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury spa environment. 

The ideal candidate is confident in performing customized treatments, educating guests on skincare, and building long-term client relationships through professionalism, consistency, and outstanding service. 

This position is ideal for an esthetician who enjoys both treatment work and helping guests achieve their skincare goals through personalized recommendations, retail education, and ongoing treatment plans. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

Guest Experience & Client Care  

  • Provide exceptional guest experiences through personalized, professional skincare services.
  • Conduct thorough consultations to assess guest concerns, skin conditions, and treatment goals.
  • Educate guests on home care routines, treatment recommendations, and product usage.
  • Create a calm, welcoming, and relaxing spa experience for every guest.
  • Build strong client relationships to encourage retention and repeat visits.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality and professionalism at all times.


 
Treatment Responsibilities

 
  • Perform professional esthetic services including facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, waxing, lash services, and other spa treatments offered by Spa Lavender.
  • Customize treatments based on individual guest needs and contraindications.
  • Maintain accurate treatment notes and client records.
  • Follow all sanitation, disinfection, and infection-control protocols.
  • Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, stocked, and guest-ready throughout the shift.
  • Stay informed on skincare trends, ingredients, products, and treatment techniques.


 
Sales & Retail Responsibilities

 
  • Recommend appropriate retail products, memberships, packages, upgrades, and treatment plans based on guest goals.
  • Educate guests on the importance of consistency and home care.
  • Participate in spa promotions, seasonal offerings, and retail initiatives.
  • Contribute to overall spa sales and guest retention goals through exceptional service and product knowledge.


 
Team & Operational Support

 
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with front desk staff, therapists, estheticians, and management.
  • Assist in maintaining smooth spa operations and schedule flow.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Follow all company policies related to attendance, professionalism, scheduling, and workplace conduct.
  • Support a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented environment.


 
Qualifications

 
  • Current Ohio Esthetician License in good standing required.
  • Previous spa or esthetics experience preferred.
  • Experience with facials, waxing, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and/or lash services preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Passion for skincare, wellness, and continued education.
  • Comfortable recommending retail products and ongoing treatment plans.
  • Professional, dependable, organized, and team-oriented.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm and polished demeanor.
  • Evening and weekend availability preferred.


 
Physical Requirements

 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout treatments.
  • Ability to maintain physical stamina during busy shifts.
