Join our dynamic team as an Independent Courier Driver paid per stop, in Columbia SC and Augusta, GA

Must have good driving skills and customer service expertise come together to deliver exceptional service. We are seeking independent courier drivers or contractor teams with their own fuel-efficient vehicle that is organized and dependable. Responsibilities

• Drivers will have to work Monday - Friday and two Saturday a month
• We also need weekend drivers
• Safely operate a vehicle to complete delivery stops along designated routes
• Load and unload packages
• Ensure accurate delivery of packages at each stop, verifying recipient details and obtaining signatures when required
• Delivery is SAME DAY — all packages must be completed the same day
• Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with recipients and addressing any delivery concerns
• Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including stop confirmations and delivery logs

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route driving and heavy lifting tasks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; Driving experience preferred
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle interactions professionally and courteously
• Most deliveries involve small packages (typically Less than 10 lbs.).
• Routes assigned daily with stable weekly schedule. Most drivers complete about a 65-100 stops a day
• Compensation 1099
• Familiarity with safety protocols for commercial driving and cargo handling
• Must have your own vehicle (fuel-efficient preferred)
• Willing to work weekends
• Possess a smartphone with a data plan (Android or iPhone)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Loading & unloading vehicle at warehouse
• Must be able to scan & sort your assigned packages and take picture at all route deliveries & drop-off. Also follow the guideline and instructions from route manager
• Examining and reviewing orders before and after delivery to make sure all orders are complete.
