We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our tenants and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

Uniforms are provided, but you are required to provide a Black Belt and Black Work Shoes

PLEASE READ THE WORK REQUIREMENTS

Security Officer’s duties include, but are not limited to:

• Patrol premises regularly to guard against theft, maintain order and establish security presence
• Work effectively and maintain composure within a busy, stressful environment
• Write and submit reports of daily activities, irregularities and important occurrences (such as issues with the Homeless or damages to the property)
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Make calls in case of emergencies which would require Police or Fire response

The Minimum requirements to successfully perform this position are:

• MUST be able to speak English/SPANISH
• Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Security License from the State Board of Private Security Examiners
• MUST have a security license on hand.
• Applicant must be able to pass a Background Check
• Candidate must have at least one verifiable employer
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interactions and familiarity with report writing
• MUST  maintain Attendance and Punctuality standards
• Neat and Professional Appearance required at all times
• Tech-savvy with experience in computers and surveillance systems
• Physically able to stand for more than 60 min, walk and climb stairs
• Friendly and Professional demeanor with excellent Customer Service skills
• Applicant must be able to work short notice, nights and weekends
• All positions must be able to comply with State Requirements regarding Security Officers
