Job Description

Position Title: HR Supervisor

Evotrex Live in AdventureEvotrex is building a new way to experience the outdoorsfree, limitless, tech-driven, and beyond electric. This isnt just about vehicles or technology. Its about people who believe exploration should never stop, and that power should never hold you back.

Compensation: Competitive base + performance bonus

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (50%)

- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding for all US-based roles (e.g., engineering, sales, service, operations).

- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key positions, leveraging job boards, social media, industry networks, and referrals to attract high-quality candidates.

- Ensure compliance with US labor laws (e.g., EEOC, California labor regulations) throughout the recruitment process, including equal employment opportunity and background check protocols.

- Optimize recruitment workflows to improve efficiency and candidate experience, aligning with the startups fast-paced growth needs.

2. Office Administration & Operations (20%)

- Oversee daily office operations in California, including office maintenance, supplies management, vendor coordination, and facility safety compliance.

- Manage administrative tasks such as employee records management, time-off tracking, payroll coordination (working with external payroll providers), and HR document filing (electronic and physical).

- Coordinate company events, team meetings, and offsites, ensuring smooth execution and positive employee experience.

- Streamline administrative processes to reduce inefficiencies, support cross-functional collaboration, and maintain a productive work environment.

3. HRBP & Employee Relations (30%)

- Act as a trusted HR partner to department leaders, providing guidance on employee relations issues, performance management, and talent development.

- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience and knowledge transfer.

- Develop and implement basic employee engagement initiatives (e.g., team building, feedback mechanisms) to foster a positive, inclusive company culture.

- Ensure compliance with US and California HR laws (e.g., wage and hour laws, workplace safety, anti-discrimination policies) and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes.

- Address employee inquiries and concerns promptly, mediating conflicts when necessary and escalating complex issues to leadership.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a combined HR (recruitment + HRBP) and administrative role, preferably in a startup or mid-sized company.

- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, with a focus on technical or operational roles (experience in the RV, automotive, or electric vehicle industry is a plus).

- Strong knowledge of US and California labor laws (EEOC, FLSA, California Labor Code) and compliance requirements for HR and administration.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels and interact effectively with external partners (recruiters, vendors, etc.).

- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks and adapt to changing business needs.

- Legally authorized to work in the US (no sponsorship provided at this time).
