Certified Flight Instructor- ATC Indianapolis, IN

Title: Certified Flight Instructor, part time

Vincennes University Aviation Technology Center

Qualifications:

• FAA Certified Flight Instructor Rating (AS degree in flight preferred, but not required)
• FAA part 141 flight school experience preferred

Requirements:

• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and aviation software
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities at once
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Responsibilities/ duties:

• Teach students to fly
• Prepare and maintain FAA documents
• Assist in managing the work study students
• Participate in on-campus and off-campus events
• Provide operational support to the Chief Flight Instructor, Assistant Chief Flight Instructor, and Director of Aviation
• Welcome visitors to the flight program and facilitate next steps
• Other related duties as assigned
