Join to apply for the Finance – FP&A Analyst role at TransRe Base pay range $75,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr Responsibilities Assisting in collecting, processing, and interpreting financial data to create monthly and quarterly forecasts and reports using existing and new technologies Utilizing tools to assist with creation of pro‑forma financial statements Participating in the annual business planning process to provide business insights to senior management and stakeholders Identifying areas of improvement in current processes and assisting in the implementation of solutions to improve FP&A processes across deliverables Assisting in the implementation of financial systems transformation projects involving use of technology solutions and other internal tools Preparing detailed peer analysis and company financial reviews providing insight and support to other departments Collaborating across the organization to support cross‑functional projects and initiatives Requirements Proven experience creating dashboards, visualizations and reporting tools to facilitate analysis (leveraging Power BI or similar technologies) Strong SQL skills and ability to work with large datasets Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies including AI, advanced analytics, and cloud‑based tools to drive process efficiency, automate workflows, and enhance forecasting and reporting capabilities Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas) Strong analytical problem‑solving skills with a focus on process improvement and automation 1–2 years experience in finance, accounting or the re(insurance) industry preferred but not required Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or another analytical field Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions, manage multiple projects within set timelines, and maintain strong attention to detail and organizational discipline Work Schedule Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office per week and 2 days remote.
