Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Associate to plan, implement, manage, and support digital marketing initiatives, particularly email marketing while optimizing other digital marketing channels such as advertising, social media, and our website.

As the primary digital marketer within the organization, you will conduct campaign performance analysis to provide actionable insights for campaign improvement and collaborate with the marketing team for planning, strategy, and execution. This person will ideally bring a mix of technical and creative skills and leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud, other digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and QA multiple marketing and compliance email campaigns using Journey

  • Builder, Salesforce Sends, and Granicus govDelivery, ensuring accuracy, adherence to best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead day-to-day management of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Growth environment, including journey configuration, audience management, and platform maintenance.
  • Oversee performance marketing in partnership with our agency across Meta, Google, and other paid channels; monitor spend, pacing, and ROI, and recommend optimizations.
  • Own analytics and reporting across paid media, website performance, and the lead funnel; translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Produce monthly marketing performance reports, including channel-level analysis, and present findings to inform strategy and improve campaign results.
  • Collaborate with brand, creative, and cross-functional partners to ideate, brief, and refine campaigns that align customer insights, messaging, and performance goals.
  • Execute basic website updates in WordPress and coordinate with web developers for site optimization, UX improvements, and ADA compliance.
  • Stay current on emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies (e.g., automation, analytics, privacy) and share learnings to keep the team informed and competitive.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure all content and campaigns align with broader strategic messaging and brand standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in digital marketing, including campaign reporting, optimization/strategy, email execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or a similar marketing automation platform..
  • Experience managing agencies or external partners across paid and owned channels (email, onsite, social, Meta, Google Ads, etc.).
  • Proficiency with analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Looker, Tableau) and strong analytical/quantitative skills.
  • Experience with social media content optimization; familiarity with tools like Hootsuite is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, concise communicator and effective collaborator; comfortable working on a small, cross-functional team.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting applications.

Knowledge & Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and Data Cloud fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with the Google marketing/analytics stack (GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, URL builders, etc.).
  • Experience with WordPress and related plugins for optimization, UX, and ADA compliance.
  • Understanding of social media best practices (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Bluesky, YouTube).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS; exposure to SQL, AMPscript, and SSJS for Marketing Cloud is a plus.
  • Understanding of website privacy, cookie management, and opt-out functionality.
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management tools.
