Contracts Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support our project teams by managing customer contracts and related documentation with accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.

The Contracts Administrator will work closely with in-house General Deputy Counsel, Project Managers and group Administrators to prepare, execute, and monitor contracts received from our clients/customers to ensure they are processed, executed and in a timely manner. This position is responsible for ensuring our standard subcontracts are modified to accommodate requirements from our customers' contracts, verifying that subcontractor insurance certificates are compliant with contractual requirements and inputted into JCC's software system.

What You'll Do

• Manage the entire in-house process of receiving, executing, monitoring and approving the contracts received from our customers, ensuring all paperwork is completed properly and in a timely manner.
• Obtaining bonds and insurance certificates to forward to customers with approved contracts.
• Process Docusign's for subcontractor's with insurance requirements to ensure execution and certificate of insurance has been received and compliant with contractual requirements.
• Execute miscellaneous contract exhibit forms and paperwork (i.e. tax-exempt forms, bonds).
• Review and help process lien waivers.
• Assist Accounting in compliance management and help follow up on the return of Insurance certificates.
• Provide and issue insurance certificates to Clients.
• Complete and Process Warranty Letters.
• Assist with notifying, processing and monitoring project related insurance claims.
• Prepare Demand letters for outstanding collection issues.
• Assist with processing bid documentation.
• Maintain detailed and organized files.
• Ensure all documentation is saved in the system and updated.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Construction contract experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
