Salary Range: $18.00-$25.00 Per Hour

This is a paid internship position, with a duration of 2 to 6 months, depending on your availability and performance. At the end of the internship, there may be opportunities for full-time employment, depending on business needs and your performance.

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Engineering Intern for the Summer 2026 season to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced Project Teams to contribute to various projects related to the design, construction, field implementation and the operation & maintenance of facilities as they relate to the engineering field. The intern will also assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings in such trades at painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure successful project completion by assisting with design, analysis, and constructability review for mechanical systems, including shop drawings, controls, and specifications review.
• Participate in formal design review, work plan development and implementation plans for mechanical equipment and systems.
• Document and track project progress, results, and findings
• Support the technical and design reviews of requests for information (RFIs), value engineering change proposal, and new product specifications and requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and other learning opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Assist with general maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, and machinery
• Inspect buildings and equipment for needed maintenance or repairs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or a related field (to include but not limited to Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Structural Engineering).
• Strong academic performance in relevant coursework, including HVAC mechanical design, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management
• Proficient in CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
